Peggy’s Bio
About Peggy Davis - Certified Master Dog Trainer
Peggy grew up in Southern California with 30 dogs and 27 cats. She started training the dogs because of mom’s inability to set boundaries with animals! Out of necessity, she developed leadership and communication skills with the animals.
Though she had a goal to be vet, and worked as a vet assistant, it was the dog training that she loved. She attended Mandelyn Kennel School for Dog Trainers in Bakersfield CA in 1978, and graduated top of her class. She specializes in problem solving like – not coming when called, chewing, biting, barking, leash manners, aggression etc. She became a certified master dog trainer.
Peggy truly cares. This is her business and her lively-hood. She offers a unique combination of one-on-one at home, and group classes which are free to those that sign up for home training. She has over 20 years of experience, knowledge of all breeds, and has seen every imaginable problem situation. Whether single pets, multiple pets of all ages and behaviors, types of people, or matching the dog to the person, you need to talk with Peggy. It is not a cookie-cutter approach by any means. There is no substitute for knowledge, caring and thoroughly knowing your dog, and what it is signaling you when it misbehaves.
Peggy has a sweet spot in her heart for Dobermans and Giant Schnauzers. She recently visited Florida and bred her female dobe with the dog who just won the world title in the K-9 Pro Sports Patrol Division. (Ector) Puppies arrived in June 2008.
