A trainer is one who helps YOU figure out how to train your dog. A good trainer helps you learn to observe your dog for important clues to his/hers behaviors and actions. A trainer watches you and your dog work together and helps you learn where you need to improve on your relationship with your pet. A trainer’s job, in short, is to teach you to become a trainer of your own dog, and become the pack leader. It is not a trainer’s job to teach your dog. However both owner and dog need training. Peggy can work with both, and in a short period of time, and give control over to the owner who has observed what Peggy does. It is a special process that is very effective. It’s amazing how dogs can understand English!!! Just kiddin, it’s all in the vibes that you send down the leash.
What is extra special about Peggy is that she will come to your home. How many times does any other professional offer to come to your home. When was the last time your doctor offered to make a house call! Actually, there is a good reason why training should be done at home. After all, this is where you and your pet spend most of your life. Surely your dog acts differently at home (his/her turf), than when you are walking the neighborhood.
